Our spacious Main Auditorium, complete with a large stage, is ideal for sports groups, rehearsals and activities that need plenty of room to move. Popular uses include badminton, pickleball, martial arts, ballroom dancing, kapa haka and other cultural groups, dance rehearsals and stage practice.

Kitchen Facilities
The Main Auditorium does not include kitchen facilities.
If you require kitchen facilities for preparing, warming or serving food, the Pioneer Lounge will also need to be hired.
If you require full cooking facilities, a Whole Complex booking is required to provide access to the commercial kitchen.
Parking
Ample free parking is available behind the hall, with additional on-street parking available nearby.
This room is wheelchair accessible.
Cleaning Requirements
Unless arranged in advance, hirers are responsible for leaving the Auditorium clean, tidy and ready for the next user.
- Return all furniture to its original position.
- Sweep floors and spot clean any spills.
- Remove all rubbish, glass and litter from inside and outside the Venue.
- Turn off all lights and AV equipment.
- Close all windows and doors.
- Remove all personal belongings before leaving.
Additional Services
Need a little extra help with your booking? A range of additional services and equipment are available at an additional cost by prior arrangement.
- Tech/Venue Support – Available for bookings requiring technical assistance beyond the basic operation of the Hall’s AV equipment.
- Handheld & Lapel Microphones – Additional microphone options are available for Hall bookings.
- Set-Up & Pack-Down Service – We can set up tables and chairs to your agreed room layout before your booking and pack them away afterwards. Does not include decorating, cleaning or the set-up of your own equipment.
- Trestle Table Hire – Up to 40 tables are available to hire at an additional cost. Alternatively, if the Pioneer Lounge is hired in conjunction with the Main Auditorium, use of up to 20 tables is included with the Pioneer Lounge hire.

Bonds
Some bookings will require a bond payment. This will be advised upon confirmation of your booking.
